On National Girls and Women in Sports Day, VOICEINSPORT Brings Women Athletes to D.C. to Demand Real Change.

Sephora extends its impact in sport through a new VOICEINSPORT mentorship series focused on changing the narrative around sport & beauty and shining light on the beauty & power of all body types in sport. Together we are redefining how sport & beauty co-exist through the voices of French Olympic Medalists.

Through initiatives like the Barbie Dream Gap Project, Barbie is committed to leveling the playing field for girls globally, in sports and beyond, to close the gap that comes between girls and their full potential. Partnering with VOICEINSPORT - a digital sport platform dedicated to keeping girls in sport, Barbie Role Models will extend their impact through virtual mentoring sessions throughout the year.

Barbie brand honors the profound impact of sports in igniting confidence among young girls by:

• Honoring nine women in sports who have broken boundaries around the world with one-of-a-kind Role Model dolls

• Partnering with VOICEINSPORT to keep girls in sports through mentorship 

• Introducing doll assortments highlighting fan-favorite careers in sports

Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix joins VOICEINSPORT as the first Founding Athlete of the digital sport platform for girls and women in sports. Allyson will be a Board Member and Mentor on the platform with her first digital session August 3rd, 2022.

While some members of the BWPC already have been mentoring girls through VIS, the two organizations recently announced a formal partnership through which the BWPC will host three free mentoring sessions per month to young Black female athletes. The goal of the program is to make an impact on an individual level and more broadly.

On April 25th, Women’s Coaching Alliance and VOICEINSPORT (VIS) have announced a new community partnership aimed at keeping girls in sport and developing the pipeline of young women coaches in the sports industry.

VOICEINSPORT and Rochester Soccer Club are teaming up to provide girls with access to mentorship, mental health experts, and educational content to support them on and off the field.

WeCOACH and VOICEINSPORT (VIS) have announced a new community partnership aimed at keeping girls in sport and developing more women coaches in the sports industry. In this partnership the VOICEINSPORT platform will unlock mentoring services and free educational content to over 15,000 girls in sport through the 2,000+ coaches of girls teams in the WeCOACH community. 

Today, the VOICEINSPORT Foundation is returning to Washington D.C. for the 2024 Capitol Hill Day Briefing from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Room of the Russell Senate Building in Washington D.C. to discuss Title IX, the future of gender equity in sports, and the work led by VIS Advocates to reintroduce the Fair Play for Women Act on National Girls and Women in Sports Day (Feb 7th, 2024).
