America’s Fastest Teacher: Susanna Sullivan Finishes as the Top American at the Chicago Marathon

Susanna Sullivan, hailing from northern Virginia, shocked the running world at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon this weekend. The 34-year-old middle school math teacher finished the race seventh overall and first for American racers with a 2.5 minute personal best of 2:21:56. Sullivan’s unique training approach is a testimony to the value of choosing to do what works best for you and not comparing yourself to others.
