Jasmyne Spencer, a Professional Soccer player for the Houston Dash and the National Women’s Soccer League, as well as member of the Black Women’s Players Collective shares her journey in sports and beyond. She takes us through becoming an entrepreneur and starting her own sustainable fashion brand, called Jas It Up. Jasmyne shares the challenges she faced in her soccer career, and explains how she turned those into lessons to build an inspiring business with a mission to help the environment and the next generation of black female soccer players. In this episode, Jasmyne reminds us that everyone fails sometimes, and that failure is not something to be ashamed of. Instead we should “follow our hearts, work hard, try new things.
