Period. Period. The Effects on Injury

There’s a lot we don’t know about periods when it comes to sports. Information can be conflicting, complex, and inaccessible. But menstrual cycles have an effect on injury risk, so it’s important that we know what changes to look out for. To help us break down the current scientific research on the relationship between injury and our periods, we spoke to VIS Expert Dr. Katherine Rizzone and Dr. Ellen Casey.
