Tracking our Periods with WHOOP

Menstruation is a part of our shared experience as girls and women in sport, which is why WHOOP has paid special attention to how menstruation affects our bodies and its impact on our training. We sat down with Stacy Sims, PhD., to learn about the relationship between menstruation and training and how we can utilize the WHOOP band for our benefit.

The WHOOP band has many different features that help athletes better understand the unique needs of their bodies. A new feature that WHOOP has added to their bands is called the menstrual coach.This feature allows girls and women to mark when they start their period, and then the WHOOP band provides strain and sleep recommendations based on the phase of the menstrual cycle.
