The Road to Recovery from Eating Disorders

Far too many women athletes have experienced eating disorders during their careers, but we don’t talk enough about the recovery process. Here at VOICEINSPORT, we want to encourage young athletes to seek help and to stay committed to the recovery process. So, we talked with VIS Expert and Sports Nutritionist Lauren Planas, MS, RD, LDN, on the importance of evaluating your sport, considering inpatient and outpatient care facilities, and the immense effort required to overcome an eating disorder.
