INDIANAPOLIS — November 7, 2025 — VOICEINSPORT (VIS), Indiana Sports Corp, and Women’s Fund of Central Indiana today announced a new statewide partnership to expand access to evidence-based wellness education for girls in sport. Beginning this school year, VIS will deliver free Group Educational Sessions to a network of Central Indiana public schools, led by world-class experts in sport psychology, sport nutrition, and women’s health and reinforced through engaging digital tools at VIS that help girls build daily habits.
Girls are leaving sport at 2x the rate of boys around age 14. At the same time, women-specific sport science remains under-researched, leaving critical topics under-taught in youth sports: periods and RED-S, fueling, sleep, recovery, mental performance, confidence, and body image. This partnership meets that moment with programming built for girls, grounded in science, and delivered through VOICEINSPORT; an innovative, girl-centered platform and safe space for learning, support, and community.
“Girls deserve a sports ecosystem designed for them. Together with Indiana Sports Corp and Women’s Fund, we’re bringing world-class experts into Indiana public schools and translating science-backed research into fun, actionable learning inside the VOICEINSPORT App. From periods and fueling, to sleep, recovery, and mental performance, we’re giving girls the tools, community, and role models to build confidence, stay in sport, and lead on and off the field,” said Stef Strack, Founder & CEO, VOICEINSPORT.
“As a statewide sports leader, Indiana Sports Corp believes keeping girls in sport is about more than participation, it’s about building pathways to confidence, leadership, and lifelong well-being,” said Ashleigh Newbold, Vice President of Engagement, Indiana Sports Corp. “Through this partnership, we’re expanding access to wellness services and mentorship that help girls care for both body and mind—investing in the next generation who will strengthen our communities.”
“Women’s Fund of Central Indiana invests in solutions that measurably improve the lives of women and girls,” said Tamara Winfrey-Harris, President, Women’s Fund of Central Indiana. “By bringing evidence-based wellness education directly into public schools and pairing it with an engaging digital experience, we are helping girls claim their power in sport and in life.”
A cohesive, school-centered approach
Over the next year, VIS will mobilize its community of 100+ VIS Experts to deliver interactive, age-appropriate group sessions for student-athletes in high school in Central Indiana. Sessions are conducted on the VOICEINSPORT App and normalize conversations about the menstrual cycle, reframe harmful myths, and build practical skills in fueling, sleep, recovery, injury prevention, confidence, and mental performance.
Everything Girls Need – All in the VOICEINSPORT App
All programming is reinforced inside the VOICEINSPORT App through daily tools and content. Girls can use the Daily Mood Check-in to name and track how they feel, and the VIS Journal with guided prompts to turn session learnings into real-life habits. They’ll also see a steady stream of research-backed articles, short videos, and weekly podcasts, all translated by VIS Experts into clear, age-appropriate takeaways. Together, these features make the science engaging and actionable, turning expert insights into everyday routines.
Role models matter
Through VIS’s broader work with the WNBA, girls in Indiana will learn from pro athletes who model what’s possible, including local Indiana Fever standouts such as Aliyah Boston and Brianna Turner, featured as VIS Mentors and voices across the platform. Girls that join the community will gain access to free mentorship from these women and others across sports.
How to Participate
Thanks to the WNBA community partnership, 20,000 VOICEINSPORT memberships are available at no cost to high school girls across Indiana. A membership unlocks educational wellness group sessions, app access (Daily Mood Check-in, VIS Journal), and research-backed articles, short videos, and podcasts plus opportunities to connect with VIS Mentors. Students and parents can learn how to claim a membership on VOICEINSPORT partnership page (voiceinsport.com/indiana) and the Indiana Sports Corp program page (details will be posted on IndianaSportsCorp.org). Schools, districts, coaches, and community partners can request information—or a custom program link for their teams by emailing community@indianasportscorp.org or info@voiceinsport.com.
