Dangers of the Word Diet

Diet culture has been around for a while now. Plastered all over social media and advertised as one of the main ways to lose weight or attain the societal standard body type. However, the use of the word diet can be dangerous. Especially when it comes to weight loss and what it is we are really trying to achieve. Elite runner and registered dietician specializing in sports nutrition, Maddie Alm, gives us some insight into the dangers of the word diet and the action of dieting.
