Breaking Down Mental Health Breaks

We feel guilty about taking rest days. Taking time off feels like a burden. That’s normal. But it’s important to face the reality of mental health difficulties when they show up. We talked with VIS Expert Amanda Fazio, CMPC, about how to know when we need a mental health break and why they’re important.

As athletes, we think that the more we train, the better we’ll perform. Many of us feel we can’t afford to lose time.
