VIS Mentor Emma Schieck is a two-time Paralympic gold medalist in sitting volleyball. Eleven of her twelve teammates in Paris were also returning gold medalists, including Nicky Nieves, who was the flagbearer for the Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony.
